i don't see why it shouldn't.
well, i do, but if we're gonna put people in prison, it shouldn't be for using something that you can grow in the ground.
they should have treatment, or something, instead of taking up room that we don't have in prison.
that is, to me, unless they commit murder, or some other form of offense other than just having and using the drug.
if they're in a drug gang that beats the shit out of eachother and kills eachother for drugs. throw they're asses in jail.

i definitely it should be legal. you could easily get into more trouble by downing a couple beers than by smoking a joint. it's virtually harmless and no one has ever died of marijuana use directly, that i know of. i mean, they use it for medicinal purposes, why can't the general population use it?
and if they made it legal, they could stop busting people for having a little weed and focus more on serious drugs and drug related crimes, like exploding meth labs and people ripping other people apart while on PCP. also, prisons would be mighty less crowded.

Yes. It's no deadly (like cigarettes), no one has died directly from it that I have heard and really? The worst that happens when someone starts smoking it is that they can turn into a real douchebag.

There are worse things to be fretting over, like stuff that kills people.

There are a lot of nastier things than marijuana out there; also the pot bars in Amsterdam seem to be doing very well with locals and tourists. There is also the medicinal qualities to consider as well. All in all I think it should be; as long as it has guidelines to usage like alcohol.
