Quite frankly, hell no.

There's not enough common sense left for natural law to work well.

I think the current generation has been dumbed down too much to be able to seriously control themselves. If there was no government or law I think the first response would be "lol let's graffiti stuff and run around doing whatever we want lololol", or people would be too lazy and unaccustomed to having to do things on their own.

Maybe after a long time of people getting used to the idea, they would realize what needs to be done and would snap out of it?
Or, we'd start all over again with forming laws to keep people under control and things would repeat. :l

no, and not just because there would surely be chaos, but because not all humans reason the same. there would obviously be disputes over religion, morality, ethics, etc. i don't believe natural law would work in any society in any time, except if the people were all accustomed to one particular set of similar beliefs and ways of doing things.

I vote no. to hell and back.

Especially considering I'm in a pretty wonderful white supremacy-ridden community. Take away laws against murder and... gawd. :/
:iconautumnovertures:
Absolutely not.
The anarchy is uncomprehensible.
But besides the fact, people never think before they act anymore.
And others just don't care.
Like the "Get them, before they get me." mentality.
The polite and kind will be a rare breed, as they won't get far at all.

Even law today is especially difficult, "Big Brother" can't watch every thing, but at least it keepsa decent enough hold on things.

WOW. We JUST talked about this in my Gov class today O: Freaky!

What you suggest is Communism in it's original form, which has yet to succeed in the world... though some argue that it's achievable through social evolution in the future (A society follows a natural cycle: Feudalism turns to Capitalism which fails and gives way to Socialism and eventually people outgrow the need for any government at all and true Communism is born).

98% of teenagers do watch or have watched House. If you're one of the 2% who hasn’t, paste your FACE to a wall.

Maybe in some very very rare small places... but for the most part NO. NO. NO.

Dear LORD... it'd be even more horrible. XD;
